Return of the Native
Return of the Native grows native plants naturally, without chemicals or pesticides, so you can create flourishing ecosystems. Owner Kate Harries is a lifelong gardener, with roots in Simcoe County for 35 years. A graduate of the Master Naturalist course at Lakehead University, she is a member of the Midland Penetanguishene Field Naturalists Club, the North American Native Plant Society, the Ontario Invasive Plant Council and Ontario Nature.

CONSULTATION on native plantings and invasives control: Advice and suggestions for new gardeners, or for old ones working to make a more earth-friendly space. Cost: $100 for an on-site consultation for residents of Wasaga Beach / Barrie / Midland and points in between. Mileage @ 55 cents/km to go further afield. Call 704-322-2545 to make an appointment.
